H.E. Sanjay Kumar Verma

Ambassador of India to Japan

Amb. Verma is an Indian Foreign Service (IFS) Officer and has served at the Consulate General of India, Hong Kong and at the Embassy of India in China, Vietnam and Turkey. He has also served as Consul General of India in Milan, Italy and as Indian Ambassador to the Republic of Sudan, Joint Secretary (Global Estate Management) in MEA, New Delhi. Prior to his arrival in Japan as the Ambassador of India, Amb. Verma was posted in MEA, New Delhi as Additional Secretary (Administration) and was also in charge of the Cyber Diplomacy Division.

H.E. Satoshi Suzuki

Ambassador Extraordinary & Plenipotentiary of Japan to India

Mr. Suzuki has served as the Head of the Foreign Policy Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Japan; Deputy Minister for Foreign Policy, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Japan. He held various senior positions such as Deputy Director General, European Affairs Bureau, Deputy Director-General, Intelligence & Analysis Service and Assistant Vice-Minister for Crisis Management. He has also served as an Executive Assistant to the Chief Cabinet Secretary at the Prime Minister’s Office.

A pioneer in the field of infrastructure, Mr. Hemant Kanoria has reshaped India's infrastructure landscape with innovative ideas and a strong passion for excellence. About India Japan Business Forum

The pandemic has posed new challenges for businesses worldwide but on a positive note it has also provided opportunities to diversify, collaborate, reimagine and reinvent businesses without boundaries. With focus on sectors like Capital Goods, Healthcare, Agriculture & Food processing and Wealth Management services, ICC is organizing India Japan Business Forum on 26th August 2020 through an online webinar in alliance with the Embassy of Japan in New Delhi and Embassy of India in Tokyo.

 

The Forum will witness the presence of Diplomats, Union & State Ministers, Bureaucrats, High profile delegation of 150+ companies from Japan, Industrialists, Senior Corporate Leaders and Investors to deliberate upon the investment opportunities in India as well as discuss on the scope for collaboration between businesses through exchange of knowledge and services.

 

The Forum will have Keynote Addresses, Special Presentations and Sectoral panel discussions followed by one-on-one meetings between the companies who would like to take the discussion forward.
